Stay at Ocean House and ride the Great Ocean Road with Australian cycling legend, Phil Anderson. Celebrating the landscape in which Ocean House sits and its position on one of the greatest cycling roads of the world, we have teamed up with legendary cyclist, Phil Anderson to create a luxury two day cycling tour based from Ocean House that takes in the majestic scenery of the Great Ocean Road and the serene hinterland of the Otway Ranges.
Greeted by Phil at the beginning of each day, together you will hit the road. Phil will take you along his favourite cycling routes of the region, from conquering challenging climbs that finish with spectacular coastal outlooks, to more relaxed rolling through the Otways, stopping off at the Forrest Brewery and local cafes to re-fuel and recuperate. At the end of the second day’s ride is the well-earned reward of a long lunch with matched wines at Chef Dan Hunter’s acclaimed Brae in Birregurra.
With every detail taken care of, you can relax and enjoy the experience; from the transport of bikes and kit to Ocean House, support vehicle on each day of the rides, change of clothes and showers prior to lunch at Brae, chef-prepared breakfasts and dinners served in the peaceful luxury of Ocean House. Even the option of Microflite Helicopter transfers over the Great Ocean Road between Melbourne and Lorne!
